Environmental or nature supervision

Environmental supervision at the construction stage can be carried out, among others, as part of investor’s supervision, under Article 19(1) of the Polish Act of 7 July 1994 – Construction Law (Prawo budowlane, Dz. U. z 2026 r. poz. 524, as amended), which allows the architectural and building administration authority to require the investor, in the building permit decision, to appoint an investor’s supervision inspector and to provide designer’s supervision, where justified by the high complexity of the facility or construction works or by the expected impact on the environment.
